FAJAR Restaurant was established in 1958 by the first-generation immigrants from Hainan Island, China. The concept of FAJAR Restaurant revolves around comfort Chinese food enjoyed by families.

The second generation of the family managing FAJAR Restaurant has also introduced innovations by featuring Chinese dishes from the Hakka province as the main menu, such as Khee-style braised pork (Babi Hong), salted chicken,
and Yammie Noodles.
